Where the apartments are

Most apartments in Calpe are along the two main beaches. Arenal-Bol is close to the old town and the port. La Fossa runs north from the rock along the promenade. Further back, quieter buildings and bungalow complexes with shared pools sit between the beaches and the hills. The front line gives you the view. A street or two back often gives you more space or a lower price.

The building matters as much as the flat

An apartment comes with a community of owners. The fees, what they cover, the state of the lift, the roof and the facade, and any works the owners have already voted all change what you really pay. We read the minutes of recent owners’ meetings and look at the building before we recommend a flat.
