Benissa town and Benissa Costa

Benissa’s old town sits inland on its hill, around a large church known locally as the cathedral of the Marina Alta. The coast belongs to the same municipality: about four kilometres of small coves and rocky shore between Moraira and Calpe. Most homes for sale are there, on Benissa Costa, in areas such as La Fustera, Montemar and Cala Advocat - Baladrar. When buyers say they want Benissa, they usually mean the coast.

What you find on Benissa Costa

Benissa Costa has no high-rise seafront and no long promenade. It is villas on their own plots, many stepping down the slope towards the sea, close to coves such as La Fustera. That makes it calmer than Calpe and more spread out than Moraira. Orientation and slope matter as much as the view here: an easy, sunny plot is worth more day to day than a steep one with a wider panorama.
