About Nicolas Strebel
Swiss-born, trained in fashion, on the Costa Blanca North since 1998. Co-founder and former CEO of the Jetvillas Group, now a private consultant to investors and second-home owners.
Fashion, in Milan and Düsseldorf
Nicolas began by studying fashion design in Milan at the Istituto Marangoni. He then worked with Tristano Onofri, a luxury women’s fashion brand in Düsseldorf, where he refined his eye for detail, elegance and quality.
Those years also taught him marketing and strategic thinking, two things he has used every day since.
Moraira, and a building company in Calpe
In 1998 Nicolas moved to Moraira, a place he knew from his family’s early holidays. Entering the property market, he was introduced to José Escribano Tevar, owner of a reputable building company in Calpe, and started by translating for foreign clients and selling building plots to them.
Within a year he was sales director. It was the beginning of a lasting commitment to property on the Costa Blanca North.
Jetvillas
In 1999 Nicolas founded Jetvillas as a brand within the building company, to offer quality property services and house sales. By 2001 he had co-founded it as an independent company alongside José Escribano Tevar, and in 2009 José offered him a partnership in the building company, making the Jetvillas Group a 50-50 ownership.
Under his leadership the company achieved ISO 9001 certification for quality management from TÜV Rheinland, won the Bellevue Best Property Agent Award every year from 2011, sold over 500 properties and completed more than 50 building projects. His attention to value-adding details and his focus on legal security made Jetvillas one of the region’s most reputable firms.
A new chapter
In 2024 Nicolas sold his shares in Jetvillas to focus on new personal projects, and now offers his experience as a private consultant to investors and future second-home owners.
Working with a team of the best professionals, the practice provides personalised, high-quality property services to a select number of clients: investment opportunities, new build project management, refurbishment and decoration, acquisitions, sales, portfolio management and relocation advice.
