Buying from abroad: how proxy viewings work
What we check, what we photograph, and how honest feedback saves you a flight.
What you will learn
- What a pre-check covers
- How we report back
- When it is worth flying out
Most of our clients live abroad while they search. A proxy viewing means we go first: we pre-check the listing, visit the property, and look at what a photograph hides, from the neighbours and the road noise to the state of the roof and the pool.
You receive photographs and an honest view, including the reasons a house is wrong for you. That is the point of the exercise: fewer viewings and better ones, so a trip out is for the shortlist, not the long list. Start with the sea view villas in Calpe or the villas for sale in Jávea.
